The history is being re-written by youngsters in Andhra Pradesh with the Nizam'sabad which they want to become a museum. They have been trying to re-construct it with their own hands, not knowing that they have been doing the same thing for the past 80 years. Kalyan Raaj (Emraan Hashmi) and Fathima (Shefali Shah) are a newly married couple and live in Nizamabad, Hyderabad. They live with Kalyan's college friend Vipin (Prakash Raj). Fathima seems strange and reclusive. She avoids social gatherings and does not want to make any friends. It is later revealed that Fathima had married a previous man named Samir, but was divorced from him as he had been cheating on her. After being divorced from her husband, she has been living in isolation from society. Kalyan then meets Avni (Kriti Sanon) who is a tourism guide for small towns of India, and who is notorious for having affairs with men she meets on her tours. Avni comes to Nizamabad to promote tourism in the town with the help of Kalyan. Kalyan soon falls in love with Avni, however Fathima still remains aloof and does not seem to express interest in Kalyan. A woman named Madhuri visits him often and is interested in starting a relationship again with Kalyan, but he turns her down as he is married to Fathima. During a party at his house, Avni overhears some of his friends badmouthing her. Feeling insulted she leaves the party angrily. Later on she decides to leave Nizamabad as she feels unwelcome there.
